Having two 52 Weeks of Blog Community tasks in one week feels very strange. And yet, it's true. Since this is probably the quickest-held task in all of 52WoC history, I thought I'd break tradition and share our list of participants earlier in the post.
So, here are our 52WoC #44: Your Blogging Beginnings participants -
Thanks again to our fabulous participants for completing this task! It was great reading about each one's blogging beginnings. Of course, you will all be part of our 52WoC virtual party #9, which I'm hoping to hold in the next day or so.
Now, on to 52WoC#45!
As you can read in the title, this is about highlighting your commenters. I'm not sure what kind of practice you've got on your blogs to do this. So, if you can share (via comments) how you help to highlight and/or thank the commenters on your blog, then consider yourself joined in this task.
For example, as I mentioned in the past, some of the ways that I highlight my commenters include:
- Using a Top Commentators plugin that display the names of my top commenters for the month in my sidebar, with a link to their respective blogs/sites, if they have any.
- Responding to each comment as much as possible (I still miss some of 'em sometimes, I must admit).
- Visiting my top commenters' blogs, and leaving comments on their blogs when I get the chance.
- Sometimes, I write about them on my blog (e.g., "Tell Me About You" project).
These are just some of my practices and ideas. What about you?
If you don't have a way of highlighting your commenters, try to think of one or two, implement them, then tell us all about it.
Now, since I'd like to practise what I preach, please read on as I highlight this month's Top Commenters at the Studio -
#1 - Kari - One of our best and most loyal Studio friend leads the pack.
#2 - Melissa W - Another wonderful friend here at the Studio.
#3 - Sue Silverman - Probably the very first time that a guest of the week (see interview) ever made it to the top commentators list. Yay.
#4 - blue rose - One of our special regulars at the Studio.
#5 - Kay - A good friend also made it to the list!
#6 - Glenda - Someone I just 'met' online, she's another cool creative geek.
#7 - Rachel Cotterill - Although she may be relatively new to the Studio, this fab creative geek has become a real wonderful part of our community.
#8 - Christine - A good, long-time online buddy and real friend.
#9 - Christy Matta - Also a new buddy that we have the pleasure of having with us here.
A special shout-out goes out to Carrie, who didn't have a link to leave with us when she commented.
Thanks again to everyone who leaves comments and shares feedback here at the Studio. It is always a pleasure to hear from you. Your comments really make my day. 🙂
