aka My Return to Food Blogging!
A few months ago, I met the very lovely and highly energised Christina Soong, aka Hungry Australian. She first contacted me, looking for a local group of Adelaide bloggers to network with. A couple of face-to-face meetings later, she has taken the food blogging scene in Adelaide by storm when she launched the first official Adelaide Food Bloggers group. She's quite a dynamic woman! No wonder I liked her and wanted to be her friend from the moment we met. 🙂
In any case, Christina has been inspiring me to get back in to food blogging. I keep telling myself that I would. After all, if anyone would ever look at my Instagram stream, I do seem to post a heck of a lot of food photos. And, not to mention, my Pinterest boards on Food, Drinks, and a dedicated one on Cakes. Oh, and yes, truth be told, the most popular pages on Studio Notes are all actually my food-related posts.
That's why that extra push that Christina gave me by adding me to the list of foodies in Adelaide that she started has been niggling me. I feel like if I don't start food blogging again, I really shouldn't be on that list.
After all, even though I've been taking pics of food and talking about them a lot, it has been months since I posted anything food-related on Studio Notes. And, it has been years since I posted a recipe. And I know I have been asked for recipes quite a bit and I kept saying, "I'll let you know when it's up on my blog."
Well, then. Time to deliver, yes?
So, from hereon, I'm hoping to start dedicating weekends on Studio Notes to anything food and home-related. I might post something during the week too, if the mood strikes. But, I'm telling myself that I will try to do this on weekends. Especially since it's the time of the week that I actually do cook and/or bake.
Although, having said that, I've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen lately, even on weekdays. So, definitely developing a lot of food blogging fodder!
