Ever Heard of AntiClown Media?

Let's see how fast (or slow) I can get an answer on this...

Anyway, someone pointed me towards the direction of AntiClown Media today. They seem to have a mini blog network running two other blogs: The Superficial (Because You're Ugly) and The Republica (Because News Is Boring).

Admittedly, I'm not really a big fan of the subject matters covered by the said blogs. But, that never stopped me from trying to learn more about blogs that work and blogs that don't work. And, based on the only publicly available SiteMeter stats of The Superficial:

Superfical Sitemeter Stats - AntiClown Media

Well, this one's obviously working. At least on some levels. For one thing, they're not very "sticky" (average visit length is only 8 seconds and no more than 1.5 pages per visit).

Anyway, I can't seem to find anything about who runs these blogs, who writes them, etc. I even did a quick Google search and there's zip. Nada. Well, nothing that helps me learn more anyway.

So, if you're a better sleuth than I am - or if you have any connections - I'd love to hear from you. Maybe you can help enlighten me. And, if you don't know squat either, perhaps you can help ask around too?
