AboutWeblogs.com and b5media Merger

I'm a bit late in sharing the news in my personal blog, as this has been announced at b5media about 2 days ago. And, I made the announcement over at About Weblogs shortly after. I also wrote about some background/behind-the-scenes stuff at AW, especially in connection with 9rules.

The short form of it: I'm very excited about the whole deal. Not only do I get to work as a partner with great bloggers like Darren (ProBlogger.net), Duncan (BlogHerald.com), and Jeremy (ensight.org), I also get to work alongside some really cool bloggers over at b5media. And, of course, most of the About Weblogs team is part of the whole thing too.

Here's what some of my new b5 family have to say:

From Darren:

From About Weblogs Bloggers:

From Existing b5ers:

  • Jayvee (Cellphone9, Kapped) - over at TheBuggedLife
  • Colbert (GadgetBlog) - posted in his b5 blog
  • John (Microsoft, Windows Vista, Office12) - blogged about it at SYNTAGMA
  • Jon (New Linux User) - shares the news at his personal blog
  • Rhys (Screamstress) - talks about it at her personal blog

Uhhmmm... Did I miss anyone? Let me know if you've posted anything about this merger too. Thanks!
