Kong Hei Fat Choi!

Sparklers For Chinese New Year... or is that Gong Xi Fa Cai?!

In any case, I just want to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! May the Year of the Dog bring you prosperity, peace, joy, and your heart's desires.

I'm not Chinese (even though everyone - including my own family - thinks I look like one)... But, I just celebrated the start of the Chinese New Year with some friends and acquaintances. It was good, family fun. My boy received his first ang pao --- and even my sis got one too. (Yes, yes, she's back for another 3-month holiday).

Do you celebrate Chinese New Year at all? What do you like best about the whole celebration?
