Between August 2001 to September 2004, I sold my artwork part-time through various venues. But, primarily on eBay. I sold over 200 paintings and other pieces (see my old eBay art account). My work went in to various collections in the USA, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, Canada, the Netherlands, the UK, and South Africa, among other countries.
However, growing demands of work, motherhood, and life in general slowed me down: Four moves in four years, two difficult pregnancies, giving birth, buying/selling house, learning how to raise kids, finishing a masters' thesis, setting up a business, and such can do that I suppose. 😉
So, anyway, I ended up deciding that one of the things that had to go was sharing my art through selling and exhibiting (in shows, etc). All my art making were done mostly for myself - or friends and family.
But, when I started creating prints through my Gocco, I ended up with a growing inventory of art that I have no idea what to do with. So, I figured that since it's very inexpensive and it doesn't really take long to set up an Etsy shop, I went ahead and came up with Studio S.
Nothing fancy, nothing grand. But, it's great to be able to send my stuff out in to the big wide world again. It's actually interesting to share my work this way because even 4 or 5 years on, I still receive emails and messages from folks who bought paintings from me.
Anyway, here are the items available right now -
