Unboxing The New Macbook!

Unboxing My Gorgeous New Macbook!

It doesn't seem so long ago when I unboxed Mackie, my first ever Macbook. But, as I mentioned almost a month ago, I lost her due to an accident. And, since it wasn't covered by my insurance and finances were (are!) tight, I had to wait for a while to get some cashflow in before I get a replacement.

Well, now, here's my shiny new Macbook. And yeah - I'm calling her Tinsel. Or Tin/Tinny. Actually, I was going to go for "Mace" or "Macie" - but it was too close to Mackie. So, I thought of a different name. "Tinsel" came up 'cause a) she's so shiny/sparkly; and b) it's partly my advance Christmas present. 😀

It'll probably take a couple of days at least before she's completely up and running, as I still need to get someone to transfer my old files from the old Macbook to this one in the next day or two. But, hopefully, it will be smooth sailing from then onwards. I can't wait to give it a go!

Anyway, since today is "Getting to Know You Tuesday", I thought it might be nice if you can also share what's your machine/computer of choice. Do you use a desktop or a laptop? Windows or Mac? What are your must-have apps/software?
