Fashion Find: Monsoon Accesorize {A Splash of Colour and Bling}

Patches of Colour and Bling

Some days, it's so easy to give in to my girlishness and drool over cute guys and fancy fashion.

Today, the drool was mostly reserved for a chic cause. Especially since I just came across this UK-based* shop called Monsoon Accesorize.

I was especially attracted to the gorgeous ribbon rings necklace that you see pictured here. It's so cool to see funky jewellery that you don't expect to find. Imagine combining ribbons and wooden rings. Love it. I am sooo tempted to place an order for one. It's even inspiring me to try and get back to some jewellery making again.

And yes, I'm also inspired by the patchwork-style carpet bag, the beaded shoulder bag, and the peacock-print sash/scarf that you see here.

You see, for the most part, I tend to use blocks of colours (generally conservative colours at that!) rather than prints for my clothes and accessories. However, lately, I've been considering the use of more textures and bolder colours. These items reminded me of what I'm hoping to incorporate in my personal style.

Anyway, if you're keen to check them out, here are links to the items at Monsoon Accessorize -

Aside: Hmmm... what is it about the UK that's making me all gooey and such anyway? Ah - but that doesn't apply to all things. I still say "Go, Aussies for the Ashes!". :-))
