Studio Notes Celebrates 11 Years Online!

Studio Notes - Celebrating 11 years onlineIt's 2011 and Studio Notes is celebrating its 11th birthday on the web. YAY US!

It's almost unreal to think that I've been maintaining this site (under my own URL) for over a decade now. And, while I decided to keep only those that are from 2004 onwards on the live site, memories from years past are still tucked away somewhere in my hard drive.

So, how do we celebrate the start of the Decade 2 here at Studio Notes?

Frankly, I'm not quite sure.

I know that up until 2008, I've hardly ever acknowledged my blogiversary. Never mind celebrate.

However, since then, I've made it a point to do something here to mark Studio Notes' "official" entrance in to the web (24th August 2000, when I bought this domain name, as that's the only one I have on record - site on Geocities can't count :-)).

Anyway, between 2008 to 2010, I've done giveaways, special requests, goals, and virtual parties, for this site's blog birthday.

This year, I'm not quite sure how to celebrate.

Some possible ideas I'm playing around with include:

  • Highlighting 11 of the most popular posts here at Studio Notes (based on "all time" stats via Analytics
  • Doing a "Top 11" countdown of something
  • Posting 11 types of content related to the history of Studio Notes - or something else.
  • Doing 11 community projects in the next few months, similar to 52WoC
  • Initiating my first "swap project" based on the number 11.

So, what do you think? Any other blogiversary celebration ideas that you might like to share?
