January 2013 Theme: Beginnings

Hand Lettering: January

As I mentioned in my last post, I am introducing a monthly theme, which will be supported by weekly themes, as part of ShaiCoggins.com's 2013 blogging year. I'd like to call this: The Focus Project. More on why in another post some time.

Anyway, to celebrate January, I am setting the overall theme of: Beginnings.

Each week, I also intend to work on sub-themes as such:

Week 1: Adventure (1-7 January)
Week 2: New (8-14 January)
Week 3: Time (15-21 January)
Week 4: Australia (22-28 January)
Week 5: Green (29-31 January)

My hope is to share with you at least one thing that I have worked on for that week based on the theme, as well as to do a round-up of the month's highlights. "Notes from Shai" e-newsletter subscribers will get bonus prompts and ideas.

If you would like to join me, please let me know. I'll be happy to link to your personal projects based on these themes. Also, if you would like to Tweet or to follow via Twitter, I'm using #TheFocusProject as the hashtag.

In any case, I look forward to exploring this brand new project through this month's theme and sub-themes.
