Tea Party Clip Art Set: Now Available on Etsy

Hello, friends.

It’s Day 4 of ‘A Week In The Life 2014’ today and I’m meant to be doing a Day 3 recap. But, I must admit, it’s feeling pretty lonely, trying to do WITL on my own this year. So, I thought that even though I plan to continue taking photos and notes (I have been doing so for four days now, so I should be able to keep going for three more days) --- I’m taking a break from blogging about them on a day-by-day basis.

Last year, part of my incentive to make the extra effort to blog about the photos daily was two-fold:

  • Being able to join-in with other people in the blogging community who are doing the same thing at the same time. Since I’m doing this solo right now, this part isn’t there.
  • Hearing from people daily via blog comments, as well as FB, IG, and Twitter comments, amongst others. This year seems a bit quieter on this front too. So, I’m taking this as a cue that perhaps, this isn’t what people want to read at the moment.

That’s why I decided that even though I intend on finishing this project this week, I might just do it quietly, for myself and my family.

And, since I don’t want to blog just to let you know that I won’t be blogging about something else, I thought I’d share something else that might be a little more interesting 🙂 -

My second hand drawn clip art set is now available on Etsy! It’s called “Tea Party”.

When I first shared the news about re-opening my Etsy shop with my first clip art set called “Home Sweet Home” – I was already in the middle of completing this new “Tea Party” clip art set. I was hoping to make it available immediately after my first set, but of course, a lot of other things kept getting this pushed back.

So, I just had to keep working on it whenever I got the chance – evenings, weekends, breaks… Like what I’m doing now, with my third set. Hopefully, that one should be available some time soon too.

I must say, I really like doing these clip art sets for fun. And hopefully, some folks would find them interesting enough to use for making invitations, stationery, home projects, and more too. The other day, I actually made my mom an e-birthday card using these images from my Tea Party set. My first time doing that – and I felt happy about it! I think she liked it too.

Anyway, fun tidbit: You know what the inspiration is for this particular set? My obsession with teapots. I love them! Did you know that? I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this anywhere before. But, yes, I actually have a small collection of teapots/teapot sets from different places. I wish I could buy a teapot from every country!

Actually, I was planning on putting together a clip art set full of teapots. But, I ended up with this instead – and I love it! I’m sure that I’d still have other uses for the teapots that I drew. 😉

In any case, if you’re interested, the Tea Party clip art set is available via Personal Licensing or Commercial Licensing.

And yes, the blog reader discount code – BLOGREADERLOVE – is still available until the end of this month. You get US$5 off your order when you use that code.

Hope you’re all having a great week so far.
